Crystal Canyon Counseling Services, LLC, founded by Kenzie L.P. Valladolid, MA, LPC, NCC in 2022, provides individualized, evidence-based mental health services to residents and visitors of Gunnison County, Colorado. Located in Gunnison and serving surrounding areas such as Crested Butte, Almont, Irwin, Ohio City, Pitkin, Sapinero, Cimarron, Powderhorn, and Lake City, the practice is committed to supporting personal growth, healing, and long-term change.

Kenzie Valladolid
Kenzie L.P. Valladolid, MA, LPC, NCC, is the owner and lead therapist at Crystal Canyon Counseling Services, LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and an Associate-Level Approved Provider through both the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) and the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board (DVOMB) for work with adult and juvenile sexual offenders, as well as male and female domestic violence offenders.
Kenzie specializes in anger management, forensic counseling, and trauma reprocessing. She is passionate about helping clients develop insight, emotional regulation, and self-worth. She provides both individual and group counseling, including court-mandated treatment groups in alignment with DVOMB and SOMB Standards.
In addition to court-ordered treatment, Kenzie also works with non-mandated clients seeking support for a range of concerns including anxiety, emotional regulation, anger, stress management, identity development, and relationship issues. She has a particular specialization in therapy for men, offering a supportive space to explore emotional challenges, build healthier coping skills, and develop confidence in navigating life’s demands.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Western Colorado University in 2014 with a double major in Psychology (Clinical Mental Health emphasis) and Sociology (Criminal Justice emphasis). In 2022, she completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. Kenzie has lived and worked in the Gunnison area for over a decade, including time spent as a Victim Advocate with Project Hope, serving survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Kenzie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates a range of therapeutic modalities in her work, including:

She offers in-person sessions in Gunnison, Colorado, and virtual services to clients throughout the state. Kenzie also serves as a counselor and treatment provider with Collaborative Trauma Solutions.
